DON'T TELL THE STORY- IF YOU CAN'T TELL IT CORRECT

TEN YEARS AGO I ATTEMPTED TO WRITE A RESEARCH PAPER ON BISHOP CHARLES GRACE FOR GRADUATED SCHOOL. HOWEVER, I WAS AMAZED AT ALL THE MISINFOMATION OUT THERE ON BISHOP GRACE. I AM A PROUD MEMBER OF THE UNITED HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL PEOPLE. I NEVER HAD THE HONOR OF MEETING BISHOP GRACE BUT I HAVE SPOKEN TO ENOUGH PEOPLE TO KNOW WHO HE WAS AND WHAT HE STOOD FOR. HE WAS A MAN THAT GAVE HIS LIFE FOR JESUS CHRIST. HE CAME TO THE POOREST MEMBERS OF AMERICAN SOCIETY AND MADE THEM SOMEBODY THROUGH CHRIST. HE HAS BEEN MISQUOTED MANY TIMES BUT ANYBODY THAT REALLY KNOWS GOD WOULD KNOW WHO HE REALLY WAS AND IS. 75 YEARS AND TWO BISHOPS LATER THE UNITED HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL PEOPLE IS MORE STRONG AND DEDICATED TO SPREADING THE GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST THAN EVER BEFORE. I WANTED MR. DAVIS TO KNOW FOR THE RECORD THAT ANY GOOD WRITER HEARS BOTH SIDES OF ANY STORY AND NOTES IT. THERE ARE OVER ONE MILLION ACTIVE MEMBERS, 500 MORTGAGE FREE EDIFICES, THOUSANDS HAVE BEEN EDUCATED THROUGH OUR COLLEGE FUND, AND ALL ACROSS AMERICA WE HAVE BUILD AND REVIATIZE MANY INNER CITY AREAS BY PROVIDING HOUSING FOR THE ELDERY AND POOR. BUT I BELIEVE THE MOST IMPORTANT CONTRIBUTION THAT OUR FOUNDER DADDY GRACE CONTRIBUTED WAS HIS SPREADING THE TRUE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST THAT YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. AND BECAUSE OF THIS DEDICATED MILLIONS HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIVES TO CHRIST AND HAVE BEEN SAVED. MR. DAVIS YOU SHOULD BE EMBRASSED TO WRITE SUCH A BIAS AND SLANDEROUS PIECE OF FICTION.

full of false information and lies

I think that this book should be burned. I am apalled of the one-sidedness of the information that you accumulated. Where did you get your information from? and Why are you using the word cult? I am a member of this church and we are not a cult. We are 1 million + members of various races who have come together on one accord in unity for christ. Get your information from those who were their during his life and those after and you may just get a best seller!!!!

A good start, very objective, but poorly put together

This book is an excellent start for anybody trying to do research for Daddy Grace. But there are a LOT references that do not match up!!!!!! I go to look for the articles and many of them do NOT EXIST where he says they do!!! It's very quickly and POORLY put together. Also, as a church member of the House of Prayer he should have gotten his facts together and consulted our present bishop, Daddy Madison before doing this. I have found more articles in regular research than he has in this entire book. He should have spent more time and effort on this. However, this book is more objective than a lot of things I have read on the House of Prayer. I'm glad he wrote it, its a great start for someone like me doing research on Sweet Precious Daddy Grace.
