What a waste! I wish I could give it zero stars!

If you are a David Niven fan like I am, you will be tempted by this book. DON'T DO IT!!! It is full of glaring errors and contradictions. She says one thing in one section of the book (the biography) and the complete opposite in the filmography section of the books. I have seen many of Mr. Niven's films, and I often wondered what film the author had seen because her descriptions of many of the films were nothing like the film I had actually seen.
One of the most glaring examples I can give, and one that I feel sums up the quality of the book is when she gives a summary of "The Dawn Patrol". She says it is about a group of Second World War pilots. Considering the film was released in 1938 and the Second World War didn't break out until 1939, this was a good trick!
