Many scholars in the field have combined forces to compile a history of the ethnic groups in the United States. Covered is the scope of the American melting pot from traditional immigrant groups like the Irish and Germans to newer groups such as Mexicans. Of special interest is the inclusion of Native Americans, who are often overlooked in similar titles.
